Tayler Jakeway Art

she/her

Tayler Jakeway was born in Central Washington in 1992. She describes herself as a mother, a nerd, a mental health advocate and neurodivergent. Graduated with honors from Whitworth University in 2015. In her artistic exploration, Tayler found herself drawn to Surreal Art themes in which to create her work. Due to the artist late diagnosis of Autism and ADHD she found that she finally had an explanation as to why art was so important to her. As art is her main form of communication, Tayler hopes to create conversations about her personal work to connect with others and discuss difficult subjects. Her goal is to use the parameters of Surreal Art themes to help convey ideas, emotions, and personal experiences to better connect to others and put those experiences into physical form. She wishes for her work to have an impact on others, open lines of communication, and to create work that will show who she is long after she is gone. Always aiming to Capture Dreams and Life.
